Chief Technologist of the Hanso Foundation. He was groomed by Alvar Hanso
to be his successor but eventually overthrew him as the head of the Hanso
Foundation.

Walt's Comic, Green Lantern/Flash: Faster Friends #1 (1997). Guardians of
the Universe
It is important to note, that biological and nuclear weapons appear in
this comic. "50 years ago" is mentioned by Agent X, and the Comic was
published in 1997. 1997 minus 50 years equals 1947.
The appearance of the Guardians of the Universe was modeled on then-Prime
Minister of Israel David Ben-Gurion.

March 4, 1948
David Ben-Gurion, the nation's founding father and first prime minister,
wrote a letter to Ehud Avriel, one of the Jewish Agency's operatives in
Europe, asking him to seek out and recruit East European Jewish scientists
who could "either increase the capacity to kill masses or to cure masses;
both things are important." Put in plain language, Ben-Gurion's request
implied a search for experts in BW (Biological Weapons) [1]

Boy, DC comics really messed up. I'm sure they meant to publish it on March
4, 1998 so that 50 years ago would have made it 1948.
