Paul, good to hear from you and hope your health is holding out. I am
pretty sure I have a feel for the general direction of Lost season 6, but
with these writers, the story twists and turns can not be pinned down
outside the writers room, so I am dying to see how they interprete the
rest of the Lost saga! Happy Holidays to you too.
How are you. yes, my health is holding out thank God. I did some
"experimental" stuff with radiation and lasers and gamma knife etc and it
has greatly increased my survival odds. At this point we are pretty sure i
will make it at least through the end of LOST. :-)
Pretty sad goal huh? Whatever keeps me going. Spirits are up this time of
year and that helps a lot. Thanks for asking.
I agree with you. Nothing is going to be pinned down outside the writers
room but it's fun to guess. The most amazing thing to me is that no matter
what episode i watch over and over again I always find something new that I
never noticed before.
There will never be another show like this again. ( I don't think ). I
know....never say never.
Chat with you soon. Have a great holiday!!!

A certain spoiler site just posted a multi-spoiler in the form of a
hangman game. (I worked on it, and it was loads of fun.) Anyway, the
source (who some people think is Jorge Garcia) made a very interesting
comment regarding games; one that could change the way we interpret
the title of the series.
I'll post it in ROT-13:
"Ybgf bs tnzrf unir orra ersreraprq guebhtubhg gur frevrf. Tnzrf zhfg
unir cynlref sebz qvssrerag fvqrf. Naq vs bar fvqr unf jba, gura gur
bgure fvqr unf... "

You don't have to. The scene between Jacob and whomever on the beach
is a re-creation of Jehova (note the name similarity) and Satan in
"Job". The Devil is also represented by "Lost" characters alluding to
the She-Devil from "The Life and Loves of a She-Devil", with Jacob
representing the occupant of the high tower by the sea, Mary Fisher.

That's approximately how I've been interpreting it lately, but with
emphasis on the prize, and its not being recovered by EITHER side. I
expect the last line to be a character asking what happened to their
reward, and getting the answer from the slide.
