Ibogaine really exists and is really touted as a method for disrupting
opiate addication, but I wouldn't say it has no side effects. It's a
ferocious hallucinogen.

Are there any hallucinogenic flashbacks like months later?

Who says hallucinogenics provide flashbacks much later?

I seem to recall something about "flashbacks" being more an issue
of the person's state of mind when they took the hallucinogen. But
maybe that was about "bad trips", the point is that an unstable mind
may be the reason for the "thinking you can fly" and the flashbacks.

But it is worth that one last super-duper high if it cures you of
being addicted to other drugs and you can't become addicted to
Ibogaine. Just make sure it is under controlled conditions with
qualified medical personnel so you don't dive out the window thinking
Jack the Ripper is after you.
