That would suck.

I mean, what if one of Lennie Briscoe's kids got killed in the
show?

I remember Lennie had a nephew who was in the first season of SVU.

Didn't Lennie have a drug addict daughter who died in the show? OD, I think.

I certainly remember the drug addict daughter, and I wasn't even watching
it much at that point.

I think the poster was joking.

Lennie was married and divorced twice. One of his exs I think had also
been married to Munch.

Lennie had two daughters. I don't know if they had the same mother or
not.

I might be misremembering but I don't think Lennie married Gwen (Munch's
ex) - I think he just dated/slept with her (which was enough for Munch).

No he wasn't. Lennie did have a drug addicted daughter, her name was
Cathy. She was killed by a drug dealer after she testified against
him in court.

I meant the post beginning "what if........"

But where's the joke when it really happened on the show?

Someone thought they'd cooked up a memorable situation, making a joke of
it. But since there was a daughter on the show, and she did die, it
negates the joke, since there's no "what if".

I didn't say it was funny, I said he was joking. Comedians have whole
careers without being funny.
