Hi All! Just subscribed to this NG. Anyway, did anyone catch the
"Slingblade" reference?

An obscure "Luby's Cafeteria" reference.
Mm hmmm.

I liked this episode a lot! It was cool to see Peggy beat up Leanne!
Once of the best episodes since Green Day visited! :) It was interesting
to see Luanne try to bond with her. BTW, did anyone catch that bit about
Dale with Redcorn and Nancy. Dale said, "Bill's woman is making a fool
out of him!" and Redcorn said, "it happens." Funny! :)

I liked it better when Peggy said she'd tongue kiss Bill before she'd let
Leanne live in their house! Where'd THAT come from?

I loved the one manger baby stabbing the other one with a fork.

I did too! Worth wating for. DAMON...what crap. Funny on In Living Color,
but why the HELL FOX would take off THE show that bested "The Simpsons"
with Damon crap I'll never know. Perhaps the animator were busy working on
new stuff.

I was under the impression he was dead from fatal fork wounds.
The scene with Bobby eating sausage with a spoon had me laughing. The
funniest scene had to be Leanee coming down: "morning", "Mornning",
"Morning" -Bill following her in a bathrobe. Peggy and Hank are mortified,
but Bobby deapans "-morning".

I thought it was also on tv. That is cool, though it makes me
cringe...sorry I am not a big Christian values person..a little too
conservative for me at times. I, of course, respect all relegions and
peoples beliefs...so long as they don't push them on me. I don't want to
incite a flame war. The people of alt.tv.simpsons can be pretty nasty.

Damn! I missed that! I was watching the show here at college in a student
area on the bigscreen. Good sound, but I missed Boomhauers rant. After the
great line: "Mom..you kicked her ass." "Yes, I did." I left, I also heard
the dancing line, but I didn't expect to see Peggy at the beauty salon.
Though I knew she would do it. Peggy rules!

I looooooooovved the deadpan way Peggy delivered that last line to Bobby.
"But she's a better dancer than you." "You don't know that." And the
equally conversational exchange with Luanne about the strongest possible
bond between an aunt and a niece. (Spoiler omitted because you missed
that line.) Funny dialogue is a great thing, but funny dialogue delivered
totally unselfconsciously, as if it's the most normal thing in the world
-- a technique which is the hallmark of KOTH, of course -- is way better
than kissing Bill's toes.

I don't have the episode on tape so I can't go back and check, but I am
certain -- and have confirmed with my housemates, who agree with my
recollection -- that Peg said "TOE kiss." Meaning that Hank has described
Bill's fungal infection to her, and kissing those toes would be the most
repugnant thing imaginable. Well, the second most repugnant thing.
Yeah, I did. except it's Luly's Cafeteria he he :)

LOL! My wife couldn't figure it out, but I filled her in. Agent Orange, indeed!

Interesting. My wife and I played it back twice, and we both heard "tongue
kiss." Unfortunately, that episode of KOTH has since been erased by a Daria
rerun.
Anyone else have an opinion? "toe" or "tonuge"?

And right you are. The tongue wins.
Hank says that he spoke to LuAnn's father/Peggy's brother, who's
working on a oil rig - claims he won't come ashore until Hank faxes
him a copy of LeAnn's death certificate, notarized.
Also, I took Bobby's last lines with Peggy to imply he thought
LeAnn looked better topless (that was her "dancing"), while Peggy
replies "You don't *know* that..."

Wow! A controversy!
Surely someone has tapped it and can run it back with closed caption
turned on. Anyone?

It's tongue. Trust me, I've read the script.
I've never heard the expression "toe kiss" and I doubt King of the
Hill will be the source of any new expressions for me.
Also, I believe the scene was before Bill's Fungus revelation.
Anyone ever notice Peggy's vocal revulsion toward Bill? It's kinda
funny that Bobby bears a lot more resemblance to Bill than Hank, both
in appearance and demeanor. I'll say no more.

No, no, no! Don't even THINK about it.
(though it would be a perfect plot twist for later on....)
Jeff
So you had heard the expression "lucky Pierre" before you heard it on
KOTH? I doubt it.
Bob Wells
I had...and it was determined to be "tongue kiss" after all.

I had. But then, I've also heard the expression "toe kiss" before...which
is why I thought that was what Peggy said.
