AP still "working"

Saw "The Heavy" last night. A terrible movie with terrible actors as
well as Jean Marsh and Christopher Lee. How they ended up in this
turkey is a mystery. Anyway, I was surprised to see AP in one of the
supporting roles. A bit older and quite a bit heavier. The acting (or
what passes for it) has not changed much but at least he did not have
to butcher an accent - his half-Cockney fitted right in.

Was that a new facial scar I saw? I wonder who gave him that...

A bit heavier, but I didn't think he looked much older. He could
probably go right back into playing DM. He does kind of look a bit
weird without the longer hair, which I think he could still pull off.
The other day I was surprised to see a Highlander episode on. That
made me want to check this place out again. I lurked in the old
days. There doesn't seem to be much going on, which isn't
surprising. Maybe the new movie will eventually lead to another
series.

I looked up some photos from this, and AP looks about the same as he
did in The Source. Forgetting about the *quality* of that movie for a
second, he was still playing DM then, so I don't see a problem. :)

Is there a station in your area playing it regularly...?

I'd be surprised, too. Showcase and Space showed The Series and The
Raven at different points in time here in Canada, but it's still been
a few years since it's reliably been on my local television schedule.

Well, if no one else is around, at least I can welcome you (back) to
the ATH sandbox. :)

One can only hope...

It doesn't look like it, unfortunately.

Thanks! :-)

It seems unlikely they would go with AP again, though, but you never
know. Although no Olivier I thought he was pretty good as DM.
