I just found my ATH pin from Syndicon '97 hiding behind a filing
cabinet. NO idea where it was before it snuck behind the cabinet, but
there you go.

Either way, it certainly sounds like a welcome, if mysterious,
surprise. :)

A while back, I came across my notes from Legacy 2000, written down
quickly for a con report that never materialised, so I can understand
how you feel...

That period (1997-2001) was such a great time to be a Highlander fan,
wasn't it? I miss having the option of attending Highlander-specific
events, and it would be nice if the franchise/fandom could experience
a resurgence.

I think it eventually will. The concept was so brilliant, it can't
stay dead. We will eventually see a remake and/or new series. It's
just a matter of when.

It would be nice if the next movie or TV series didn't suck, though.
That's the main reason it hasn't revived yet.
