I loved season 1. Missed season 2 and the 2 season DVD boxset is still
too expensive.

The only thing I don't like is that all the actors are English! So, they
don't look like my Roman ancestors!

I think it was the choice back in Kubrick's Spartacus movie: the Romans
were played by English actors and the slaves by Americans. ;-)

When you think that the English actually descend from Belgians captured
and enslaved by the Romans in their British colonies... It may explain
the popularity of the fried potatoes in both countries. :-)
