She is on the cover of the Nov 4 issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Inside there are two full pages of text about her career, including ONE
sentence about GG - "There followed a tremendous decade of steady work,
including seven years playing the adorably off-kilter chef Sookie on
'Gilmore Girls'."
You'd think the role that virtually launched her career would rate
more than 20 paltry words buried in the middle of the article!

The Help's Tate Taylor to Direct Melissa McCarthy in Tammy
----------------------------------------------------------
The Hollywood Reporter says that The Help director is teaming
with Bridesmaids and "Mike & Molly" star Melissa McCarthy on
Tammy.

The New Line comedy was written by McCarthy with her husband
and Bridesmaids co-star, Ben Falcone.

The movie is about "an overweight woman who is laid off from
her job at Hardee's, discovers her husband is having an affair,
and decides to go on a road trip with her alcoholic,
foul-mouthed, diabetic grandmother."

A more plausible actress would be Cybil Shepherd. Or you could use
foul-mouthed alkies like Lindsay Lohan or Shannen Dogherty ... and they
wouldn't even need much make-up to look like old hags. ;-)
