Geoff Peterson on Craig Ferguson (on topic)

Last week and this week, Craig's robot sidekick, Geoff Peterson has had
guest voices while the regular voice of Geoff is off.Last week they had
people like Shadoe /Stevens, Dominic Monaghan, and Louie Anderson.The first
guest voice this week was female, and my immediate reaction was "I know
that voice!". \Sure enough, the credits confirmed "and Lauren Graham as
the voice of Geoff Peterson".

My first question would be Craig Ferguson has a robot sidekick?
I never watch his show so I have no clue about this.

Geoff has been around almost two years now. He was built for the show by
Grant Imihara, the robot nerd on Mythbusters. At first, he was very
static, and just had random canned responses, probably pre-recorded by
Craig, but about 9 months or so ago he started to be operated and voiced
live (by voice actor Josh Robert Thompson), and gained a very distinct
personality. Right now, I think he's the best late night talk show
sidekick out there.
