Gilmore Girls - Season 2, Episodes 1 & 2

2-1 - Sadie, Sadie...
The opening montage seems to be the same as the one for season 1.
Everyone has been given daisies from Max to Lorelai at the end of S1.
Noticed an overhead sign at Kim's Antiques that says "Kim's Arts and
Antiques"; don't recall seeing it before or since.
The town follow Lorelai and Rory into Luke's waiting for her to tell Luke
that Max proposed to her. One of the best repartees between L&L.

Lorelai is wearing glasses. I seem to recall Lor saying something about
wearing contacts, but I can't remember if it was in S1 or in a later season.
While at Friday night dinner Lorelai calls Max and says yes; she and Rory
squeal and dance around, telling Emily and Richard they are just jazzed
about Rory having the top 3% grades at Chilton.
The next week Dean, with Rory and Lor, goes to Friday night dinner and
Richard attacks him - seeing Lorelai and Christopher all over again. Later
Emily tells Richard he has to apologize after Sookie inadvertently tells Em
that Lor is getting married, because Emily wants Rory to tell her when she
gets married.
In the deleted scene, Lor's house is full of daisies and people are
coming by to get them. Rory is making a Pro-Con list about why Lor should
marry Max. There is nothing in the Con side of the page.

2-2 - Hammer and Veils
The opening montage added Rory wearing overalls and a hard hat when
she was helping build a house for a charity organization.
At Friday night dinner Lorelai finally tells Em that she and max are getting
married. Emily acts as if it is no big deal, hurting Lor's feelings.
Rory volunteers to help build a house, mostly to aggravate Paris, since she
will be there. Some guy, maybe the foreman, gives Rory a hard hat and safety
glasses, the walks off. That would NEVER happen. He would make sure she was
paired off with someone experienced in home construction, not just walk
away. But maybe he knew Paris was around. But even she walked away when Rory
wouldn't go help with the concrete.
After a dinner date with Max, Lorelai has him drive her to Emily's and she
tells Em how much it hurt that Emily didn't seem to care about her
engagement. Emily comes back just as angry that she had to find out about
Max's proposal from a stranger (Sookie). Lorelai has no comeback and walks
out with her head down.
At the inn Sookie is preparing for Lor and Max's secret wedding shower. But
with the kitchen full of pastries, cookies, canes, just HOW was she supposed
to keep Lor from finding out???
The shower goes on that night, with the whole town partying. Lorelai and Max
are "QUEEN and king".
Lorelai goes into the diner and asks Luke if he would come out for a while.
He eventually does, but it's obvious he's not happy.
The next day Lor goes to Emily's and asks which of two veils she should
wear, trying to makeup with her. Emily suggests a tiara.
