I couldn't even enjoy Sonny's meltdown... and weak departure after all
his empty threats. :)

He wasn't man enough to do all the things he rants about all the time.
He's nothing without his "soldiers" and women who blindly support him.

They ruined it all for me, because I liked Carly and Johnny together,
and can't believe that he did that after all this time. That rage
against Sonny will cost him more than it ever will Sonny. <sigh> Just
pathetic.... how Sonny always triumphs... without even trying.

But, BJ, Sonny did get to wave his big gun around for a while! Didn't you expect him to swipe all the glassware off his bar when he got back home? Instead he just pours himself a glass of whatever. He should have, at the very least, thrown the bottle at the door after Max finally got a clue and left!

Karma. You know it's a bitch. Sonny trashed Claudia at her birthday party and he got trashed at his. I would've enjoyed it more if Johnny and Connie (oh, cute, it rhymes)had managed to do something to him in front of everybody but I guess they couldn't get naked right there in the MetroCourt. But, IMO, the big man got just what he deserved.

I do agree, BJ, that it's a shame they had to break Johnny and Carly up that way though.

I'm only able to catch a few minutes of the show lately, but from what
little I've seen, I find it hard to believe that Johnny would so
easily be coerced into destroying his relationship with Carly.

Not to mention he took advantage of a situation involving a mentally ill
woman.

Knowing that Kate was basically unconscious, would that not make it a rape?

Aw c'mon. It was consensual sex with Connie. Kate had left the building!

Jim from Hilton Head who thinks Sonny needs a new gun that shoots better.

OH, absolutely!!! I kept waiting for "the swipe" until the scenes
changed. I'll bet someone lost their job for leaving out Sonny's
*signature* explosive gesture! ;) You're right at a minimum he should
have thrown something. :)

I would have preferred something in public as well. Now, we all know as
soon as he finds out Kate is mentally ill... Johnny will be responsible
for everything as he always is. At least Johnny paid enough attention
to her to know something was wrong. Sonny couldn't see it even when
Jason told him and others noticed too.

I SO wanted Carly to have someone who would keep her away from Sonny...
and hoped she could reform Johnny. Guess that will never happen... no
one is ever going to keep her from gravitating back to that sleaze.

Me too... especially after he had turned Connie down so many times, and
his relationship with Carly had continued to grow. Guess he isn't as
smart as we thought he was. ;)

Yes, knowingly having sex with a woman that he knows is not mentally
competent to give consent, as Kate was not, would make the act rape. Not
that he's ever likely to be charged, let alone convicted, of it.

But it is really stupid and unbelievable to try to accept that a man who
really claims to love and be in a relationship with a woman would agree to
even a one-night stand just to tick off that woman's ex-husband.

I believe that there are a lot of reasons that people cheat, many of them
are things that can be cured, and the relationship can go on, but using sex
as a weapon against a third party is completely unforgivable IMO.
