Claudia's dead. Michael killed her. Let the COVER UP begin. I don't
think Michael will EVER pay for murdering her. She didn't deserve to
die.

Why didn't Jason just put Claudia back in the front seat of the car???
Would look like she died in the crash.

Because Michael hit Claudia with an axe, and I'm thinking coroners can
tell the difference between an someone murdered with an axe and a car
accident victim. But there were SO many other things about that
cover-up that didn't make sense.

I agree. For once, a Corinthos with a legitimate defense-of-others
claim and they're just too stupid to see it. Stigma would attach to
Michael? Just being a Corinthos is stigma!!

Nice to see that Michael has improved his batting average.

On another note, I love the nice, crisp looking red blood hand print
on Sonny's shirt! So that Maxie, who's hair I liked, could see it @

Well, I agree that he would never be convicted. However, there are
other things to consider. She has family that will seek revenge for
her death. Now I don't for a minute think that Johnny would retaliate
against Michael given the circumstances and the fact that Claudia
nearly had him killed twice (once, when she hired Ian and then again
when she mistakenly thought he caused the miscarriage accident).
However, Anthony is another story. If he knew for sure who killed his
daughter, no matter how he personally claims to feel about her, he
would make that person pay, no matter how justified Michael may have
been.

I think that Jason and Sonny would rather Anthony just suspect them
and try to retaliate against them than have him know for sure that it
was Michael and make Michael a sitting duck for revenge.

Very good point, one that I hadn't even considered. However, I still
think that if Michael doesn't/isn't allowed to own up to his actions,
they'll haunt him for the rest of his life. He was one of the few
people who actually liked Claudia. Well, he always wanted to be just
like his dad. Now he has his first kill. Whoo hoo.

That puzzles me too. What would soaps be if it weren't for cover-ups,
trials and bed hopping? ;)

Not if they have any REAL investigators. If they have a CSI crew like on
any of the CSI tv shows, or a medical examiner like Kay Scarpetta, they'd
figure out in a nanosecond that she didn't die there.

Having said that, this IS Port Charles where the PCPD is in the hands of
the bumbling, hasn't-solved-a-case-in-ten-years Mac Scorpio, so, yeah, just
putting her back in the car would be a logical move.

However, this way, no one saw the body actually discarded so they can always
raise her from the dead in a few years if they want to bring her back.

In a word...no! The first instinct of anyone associated with Sonny
Corinthos when involved in a crime is to LIE, LIE, LIE...even when the truth
would serve as well.
