I miss that sad young man who ran away with Lulu, played piano, and wanted nothing to do with the mob.

Then Sonny and his goons kidnapped him, beat him, harrassed him.

Then his sister/mother came back into his life.

And, of course, there was always his father/grandfather.

He never had a chance.

Well, you know I agree with you. :) He had such potential and even after they threw him in the mob scenario, I had
hopes Carly would help him get out. Guess I can forget that now that he's been turned into a stone cold killer... for
the sake of what? Setting up a Todd/Carly relationship? That possibility makes me ill. :(

I'm a newcomer to GH so I didn't know Johnny "when." But I've always liked
him, though to tell the truth I've never really understood why, LOL. I think
I suspected he was a sweetie underneath his mobster persona. I'm sad about
this turn of events--not about Anthony being gone, however--and this is one
time on a soap that I *do* hope a character somehow gets away with it. I
don't want him written off. Maybe they'll write his story wherein he turns
his life around and spends the rest of his life trying to do penance
somehow. A viewer can hope!
