Isn't Jason suffering from a big old dose of double-standard? He was reading Sam the riot act today for talking to John McBain when, minutes before, he had been spilling his guts to Elisabeth. McBain is a convenient stranger to Sam while Elisabeth is just someone Jason had a baby with! I'm not saying it was right for Sam to have shared such intimate details with McBain but, damnit, Jason shared those same intimate details with Elisabeth, didn't he?

I'm on Sam's side in this one. And she's right. Jason can't bear the idea of raising Franco's child.

I'm with you PJ. Whoever wrote Jason's script sounds like the same attack crap Sonny used on Kate a couple of weeks ago. Jim from Hilton Head who's already getting tired of McBain's whispering.

Too true! Even before he went off on her for talking to McBain, I was
having trouble with how he passed over the larger issues of Robin's
death and the implications of a second DNA test to focus on Sam keeping
something from him. He thinks he's the Almighty. "You lied to me!!" and
"You lied to me!! Again!!!!" Get over yourself, Jason. And while we're
on about you, you've got to be over 40. Stop combing your stupid hair
with a butch stick. It looks like my brother's hair did in 1966. When he
was nine! And lose the jeans and t-shirts uniform and put on a suit,
like a proper thug.

We both erupted over that! I was screaming at my TV... what are YOU
doing, Jason!!!
And Elizabeth of ALL people!

For sure! His tunnel vision is getting as bad as Sonny's. It's so
annoying.....

Sure looks that way... otherwise he could see Sam has been trying to
protect him under life and death circumstances... and you can't tell me,
he wouldn't have DONE THE SAME.

I think Jason's reaction to the whole thing has been badly written and gone against character.

Despite his *job* Jason has always been fair and reasonable, he would understand the reasons for *both* times that Sam withheld information from him.

But what's really bothering me is how he's (and the show) practically glossed over that Sam was raped and is carrying the rapist's baby! That is HUGE and a cause for a major mental/emotional incident of some sort. Jason's having a tantrum over not even a lie, just a postponement of information, and barely showing concern or sympathy for Sam. That's not Jason-like at all.

I've been doing a lot of yelling at the TV lately, and it's at Jason - which I don't think had ever happened before.
