Once more the cheapness of GH comes out. Monday's unbelievably stupid script winds up with Dante handcuffed in an EMPTY police station while the remaining two uniforms rush off to a call.

Not to mention even before the altercation became physical, when Dante
and Ronnie were yelling at each other obviously about to come to blows,
the other cops in the station just bustled on past them as if they
weren't there. No one in the background so much as glanced in their
direction. They were enveloped in a Soap Bubble of Invisibility.

Oh, please do get started. Someone needs to come down on it. The whole
Maxie-behind-bars scenario is idiotic. It's not uncommon for whackos to
come forward to confess to crimes they didn't commit. But usually there
must be some sort of hard evidence (not merely circumstantial) available
to prove guilt that an officer of the court can present to a judge.
Absent that, such a confession wouldn't be admissible to court and a
case could never be made to present before a judge.
I used to think the writers omitted basic realities because they thought
their audience were morons and wouldn't notice. I'm convinced now that
the writers are the morons.
