I'm OK with his voice but I still don't like the soul patch. I did like
how he winked at Luke today. I think he's a more subtle actor than GV
and he does seem like an "old soul" on GH.

This whispery voice is much better than the typical talk loudly or yell and
kick trash cans (I'm thinking of Lucky #2..)
His eyes get a little watery when he shows emotion, which is better than
some actors who need to put in eye drops to fake a tear.

I'm a little concerned by the empathy he shows Jason. Like the way he
was going to unlock Jason's cuffs when Claudia had escaped. And the
way Jason comfortably leaned toward him and asked it Michael's acting
out yesterday was going to be on his official report.
PJ
I think we're getting ready for a Jason-Transformation. The setup with
Lucky so empathetic, his regrets over Michael, his feelings for Sam and
how appalled he is over Franco leads me to believe they want to make an
honest man of him.

I've always liked JJ. I always thought he had great acting skills.

I still think he is way too wimpy to be Luke's son.

Or Monica, who has been through countless crises... Breast cancer, (her own
and her daughter's) buried a son (twice...same son!), a daughter, a husband,
a devoted mother in law, a father in law (who later returned to life) and
dozens of friends and remained dry eyed through every scene!
Didn't she bury 2 daughters? Her daughter (whose name I can't remember)
that she gave up for adoption & was reunited with. Didn't someone (Ned?)
fall for her? I can't remember how she died either, but I know she existed!

Yup, you're right. I'd forgotten her youthful indiscretion, Dawn, who
appeared in four different guises before she finally died.
I think she left Ned after she found out that he'd had a brief fling with
Monica when neither of them knew who the other was.

Dawn. Who actually married Ned, but left him before the reception.
