Has anyone heard when the new batch of episodes begins airing? I'm guessing
that won't be until summer 2012....

I haven't heard anything, but I doubt they would make two Christmas
episodes in the same production run of 26. I wouldn't be surprised if
the last episode this season is Anthology of Interest III.

13 in summer 2012; 13 in summer 2013. (Of course, one of those might
be another Christmas episode.)

Thanks for the info, Don!
I'm not so sure about the Chiristmas episode since they have done a few
different ones already, even if they were in different production runs. But
I haven't heard anything one way or the other so we'll just have to wait and
see.
I"m just impressed that Futurama keeps hanging on. Every time you think it
is dead and past the point of revival it gets a new lease on life. If only
that were true for all the good shows....

I just got the schedule - there is no Christmas episode this season,
but the last episode (on September 8) will be Anthlolgy of Interest 3
(one story in black-and-white; one in early 1980s-style low-resolution
video-game style; one in anime).
