They do favor Peri. Interesting. The story says she is 48 years old,
which means she would have been 43 when her twins were born. Not out
of the realm of possibilities, but very unusual for women that age to
have children produced from their own ova. Most of the women I know of
who had babies that much after turning 40 did it via aid of invitro-
fertilization and an egg donor (meaning ova from another woman
fertilized in a test tube, then introduced into the woman to carry to
term and raise as her own biological children). Some women do use the
eggs of a younger female relative, like a sister or a niece, for
instance, which could provide a familial resemblance. That could be
the case here, or perhaps Peri and hubby got lucky, conceiving with
their own biological material. It's quite possible invitro was used
anyway. Twins and multiple births are far more common in pregnancies
through the lab method.
Either way, they are beautiful girls though, and it looks like they
are having a lot of fun together as a family. I'm happy for them!
