Next Food Network Star, New Season, Comments
I'm skeptical that Brown, Flay, and DeLaurentis really selected each team member. Why would Brown, the smartest of the leaders, chose someone as obviously unskilled and inarticulate as Christie? Whenever the camera was on her, Christie looked terrified and/or on the verge of nursting into tears. Christie did, however fit the familar NFNS... more »

New network star
The new iteration of this series starts in a little while - there are some changes, apparently. It seems the viewers will choose the actual winner, and Bobby Flay and Giada (and maybe Alton?) will be mentors and competing against each other or something. I'm not sure these changes will be an improvement, but I guess the network is desperate.... more »

I have not ventured too far into the Indo-Chinese but there were couple of items like chicken 65. I was curious enough to try it. It does not sound like much, but it was delicious! Update... Looks like they've chef change problems (I think). Update... I see some negative comments.... In any case Solid south Indian food.... more »

In article <E1S8WZZ-0004AJ...@fattylumpki ns35.yahoo.com>, ... ... Blame the Food Network, Flay is just trying to get paid and stay relevant, can't blame a man for that.

Sweet Genius 2; Restaurant Stakeout
They are doing another season of this loser-of-a-show. I can't believe enough people watched it the first time to justify another season. I watched Restaurant Stakeout last night - first and last time. That "expert" is SO annoying, I don't think I can listen to him for one more minute. The accent is unbearable.... more »

Restaurant Stakeout??
FN already has Restaurant Impossible, so I fail to see the point of another show about rescuing a restaurant. Irvine's is doing just fine, and next week, they move it to an earlier spot to give the new one his spot. They need to develop some new ideas instead of copying their own. N,

Hair and Food
Something that really, really bugs me about the cooking shows and competitions - hardly anyone ever covers their hair! Top Chef - nope; Chopped - nope; iron Chef America - nope, and on and on, to say nothing of shows like Martha's and RRay's - never. It's disgusting. N.

Why krill oil beats fish oil in the supplement race
Krill oil one of the best sources of omega 3 fatty acids, even better than fish oil due to it's high bio-availability. This, combined with its high amound of antioxidants like astaxanthin makes it a powerful health supplement for cardiovascular health, as well as managing blood sugar levels and a myriad of other health issues.... more »
