(so there is a Ghu after all...)
Not that I want to come over all untrusting, but where did you obtain
this information from?
This would be a great achievement to get this award, but I did hear that
not everything you read on the internet is true, thus me wanting to know
where the info came from.
Cheers!
Jason.
Film 2005 is apparently a TV show on the BBC about movies. Here's the
official website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/films/film2005/
It doesn't have the list as of yet, although it mentions that its Dec 29th
show will be the one to reveal their Film of the Year, which is today. So
maybe the site will be updated soon.

I checked the website, too. Their review of Serenity is very positive.
The programme is the BBC's major movie review/preview programme in the
UK. Very influential.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside a dog it is too
dark to read.

> 1. Perched on top of the heap we call 2005, Serenity.
> It was far from the biggest hit of the year but the rabid fanbase which helped get Joss Whedon's cancelled sci-fi series onto the big screen has now handed it the biggest accolade in modern cinema: the title of Film 2005 Film of the Year. Rachel Formby calls it, 'A labour of love filled with strong, superbly written characters, humour, emotion and cool effects'. Juliet Richards in Stanstead claims it 'brilliantly blended comedy, action, drama, horror and romance', adding that 'the only negative point I can think of is that it wasn't out for long enough so I only got to see it five times on the big screen'. That's the sort of passion we like to see.
