He quite often states in interviews that he cannot sing, he wanted to be
a poet and fell into the songwriting performing by accident.
My best friend and I have this conversation alot, he is into prog rock,
twiddly twiddly pretentious music college shit that sounds nice and has
nothing to it, whereas I don't mind a rough around the edges, stood on
the testicles of the cat style of singing,(equally pretentious of
course,) as long as there is actually something to the lyrics.
He quite often mishears lyrics, I tend to be absolutely tone deaf but
good at recalling the words.
At the mo I rather like Laura Veirs,

Tyler. Help a brother out. I am trying to find some long-winded post I
wrote a long time about about Mary Shelly, Frankenstein, Faustus, and
Prometheous. It involved reading about how shelly was influenced by the
pop-sci of the time and how you could make a frog's leg jump if you shot
electricity through it. I can't find it and I want to see just how
boring and pedantic I can be.

Google was acting wonky last night, only returning a single thread no
matter what I searched for- so basically I got lucky:

I searched alt.tv.farscape for: iwaniszek shelly

Total elapsed time: 30 seconds.

(3:30 if you count the time to sacrifice a goat, but no one counts that
anymore.)
