It's a really fun show - and full of handy tips on how to break into
somewhere, or hurt people - using only househole items !
I've been stocking up on zip-ties and cell phones.

trusting of the sad sack cases he takes.

good choices. Some fire arms training and fight-clubbing would be helpful
too. And some acting classes.
Also, Bruce Campbell.

Well, only three so far- but you've got to start to start somewhere.

Yes, I find starting is usually the hardest part of starting.

the thing I like most about the show is that the characters all seem to
have a patina. Unlike the highly polished Bond and the villians and
bond-babes he cavorts with, everyone in "Burn Notice" has rough edges
that keep them from coming off as perfect.
Sam (Campbell) is fat, is never without an adult beverage, and would live
with his mom, except he has a huge man-crush on his best bud, Mike.
Fiona is slighty psychotic, his ex, and knows a lot about munitions.
Also, "Violence is foreplay for her."
His mom, who only interrupts (if then) her chain smoking for a set of
water aerobics, or to express concern, pity, fear, or ask a favor, is a
faded blond bombshell.

Yeah, I've been watching IPS.
btw, HBO's miniseries "Generation Kill" is really, really,

ok maybe not that song. but any man who is willing to make of fool of

In that episode, Zapp proceeds to sing "Lola" Shatner-style; replacing
"Lola" with "Leela".
How many points is that worth?

Speaking of Burn Notice. We have been tearing through the first season and
are no up to the last two episodes. The third from the last has Lucy Lawless
as an assassin. She is awesome, as always.
Penni
She stole/assassinated the show.
Are you watching it on Hulu? They've got the whole series.

I can't help but think that they had her walk in ditch when she appeared with
Michael to prevent her from towering over him, head and shoulders.

No. It's on the Morrison International Network.
