Subject: Caroline
Is the show setting up Caroline for an Alzheimer's story line?  Over
the past week or so, she's been shown as being forgetful (and
sometimes argumentative) on the phone with the pub's vendors.  LAtely,
on the Tuesday 10/02 episode, she was speaking to Gabi about Nicole
and said "[Nicole] took my man, Shawn", to which Gabi said "Shawn? I
thought she was married to Victor" and Caroline replied along the
lines of "Of course I meant Victor.  I'm so worked up I don't know
what I'm saying".

She also told Bo that 'Bo would love to keep you on the police force'
and Bo said, 'you mean Roman'. She said yes, Roman.

Spoilers do say that's where they're going.

When I saw the scene with Bo, I actually thought the actress (Peggy McCay)
had flubbed the line and they just decided to run with it without reshooting
the scene.  Then when I saw the subsequent scenes, it became obvious they
were setting up for an Alzheimer/dementia storyline with Caroline.
Interesting choice for an 85-year-old actress.
