The train that Victoria rides during the opening credits is apparently
an Amtrak "Downeaster", featuring equipment that won't exist for
another 20 to 30 years after the film is set (1972), and featuring the
current Amtrak logo, which was adopted in 2000.

Audience demographics

It was interesting to look around the theater. There were a lot of college age people, presumably fans of Tim Burton in general. But there were also some elderly people there. And people like me (50-ish).

I've seen two positive reviews here and no negative ones. Is that all who've seen it? I ended up not going, due to the lack of fan response. Maybe next weekend, if I hear more positive reviews from fans.

I was wondering why the film is released through Warner Brothers? I
thought the rigths for Dark Shadows was owned by Worldvision
(Spellings company) which is owned by CBS/Viacom.
