Willie's heart was pounding in his chest, but he knew there would
not be another chance to rescue Barnabas,  gathering up all his
fear, all his anger and all his energy and loyalty to protect Barnabas
from any and all danger, Willie rushes towards the unsuspecting smaller
man.

Charging from behind then embracing the other man they both
fall to the ground,  Willie, having surprised his foe could feel
the other's small frame, his first thought is how much thinner this
person is, he felt as if there were no strength to him, that is until
they hit the ground, with a powerful twist the other man slipped away
from Willies grasp and faced him, an angry snarl parting his lips...
that was when Willie recognized the smaller man's face, taking him off
guard for a split second.

The other man Willie was about to fight was the once motor bike riding
boyfriend of Carolyn Stoddard  who called himself Buzz.

Only now he didn't seem so tough, on the contrary, Buzz looked as if
he was about to faint, his color was so pale, and Willie knew why,
speaking to him softly Willie thought to reason his way into the
mausoleum, he also knew that in Buzz's current state Willie could easily
take him, at least he really hoped he could.

Each man crouched before the other. " What are you doing here, what
did you see, it doesn't matter cause your not leaving here to tell
anyone."  Lunging forward Buzz reached out to grab Willie by his
throat, being in better condition Willie quickly moves away, striking
Buzz on his back with both hands clasped together causing him to fall
forward to the hard ground.  Rushing behind him Willie jumps on Buzz's
back quickly pulling down his black leather jacket to bind his arms...
turning him on his back Willie pushes his knee on his chest,
then brings out a silver metal cross.

Twisting his head away Buzz, cries out in pain.
"Aaahh!." Willie can see the fresh wounds made by the other Vampire
as punishment.

Confident Willie speaks to him. "I know your not a  real Vampire
but I do know he's taken enough of your blood ta make you fear this
cross, and the sunlight, and if you don't want ta die like this you
won't get in my way, you hear me."  Unable to look at him Buzz
pleads.  "Put that away! it burns my eyes! your hurting me! you don't
understand he'll  kill me no matter what you do."  Willie
understood him all right.

Standing him up Willie takes Buzz then moves towards the old
mausoleum.  "All right, your gonna come with me, your gonna help me
get my friend out now!"  Pushing against him Buzz, replies. "I don't
know what your talking about."  Willie and Buzz enter the tomb.

The entrance was dark and filled with a sour foul odor, holding on
tight to Buzz Willie's eyes became accustomed to the shadows of the dark
room, Willie can't believe how anyone could stand being in such a
place... even a Vampire.  The walls came into focus Willie saw they
were made of tightly packed earth, but because of all the many years of
decay they were falling apart.

Willie began to ask Buzz questions as he walked to where Barnabas
was.  "Ya don't have ta tell me where my friend is, cause I all ready
know."  Buzz laughs.. "Friend! I know what your Friend is! he can't be
anybody's friend, your just the same as me."  Willie pushes him a bit
rough.  "Barnabas is my friend, no way I'm like you... punk!"  The
heart beat gets louder when Willie turns into a far off room.
There he sees Barnabas' coffin, and a single thick chain wrapped around
it locking him inside.

Knocking Buzz to the ground before the coffin Willie wonders
how he was going to remove the lock that held the chain in place.
Looking at Buzz Willie gets down on the ground with him on a hunch and
begins to go tough his pockets.  With a smile Willie finds a key. "No!
don't let him out! he has to stay in there... I was told to keep him in
there."  Willie looks  at Buzz.  "Yeah, that's not gonna
happen."  Standing up Willie removes the lock with a twist of the key,
the chain falls quickly to the ground, then Willie helps Buzz to stand
on his feet.

"Open it."  He says to the young man.  Buzz looks at him.  "I
can't!"  Willie   pushes him, then pulls at the black leather
jacket and tosses it away, with a louder tone Willie demands. "Open
it!"  Buzz rubs his hands together, then reaches under the lid slowly
pushing it so that it opens with a creaking noise.

A patrol car stops just outside the gate of Eagle Hill Cemetery,
inside is sheriff George Patterson.  "I wonder if this is where Willie
was heading when I saw him walking."  Opening the car door George
turns off the engine, gets out and walks towards the pedestrian
entrance to the old grave yard.  Suddenly he hears a young voice.
"Hello."

Turning quickly George is some what shocked to see a young girl
standing where he had not seen anyone.  Walking towards the child
George looks around to see in which direction she might have come
from.  "Hello little girl."

The silent girl walking towards him George is a little frightened, but
tries not to show it.  "It's a little late for you to be out so far
from town isn't it."

The young girl stops and watches as a large shadow flies into the
cemetery not too far behind the sheriff, because of her distraction the
sheriff could not witness the strange occurrence, perhaps saving his
life.  "Could you please take me home."  George is at ease when the
young girl speaks to him. "Sure I can, but you didn't say how you
got out here."  Placing her hands behind her, the little girl says. "I
think I got lost, but I'm ready to go home now."  George smiles.
"Of course I would be glad to take you home."

Opening the front door to his patrol car George asks her to get in.
"Can I sit in the back seat please."  Wondering why, but not asking
George shuts the front door then opens the back.  "It might be a
little messy, I put bad people in the back seat."  Looking up at him
the little girl replies. "That's all right, I don't mind."

The little girl, wearing a long dress picks a little of it up so she
can get into the back seat, peeking in George asks that she put her seat
belt on. The little girl nods her head in reply.

Shuting the door then going around to the drivers side door George
gets in and asks the little girl where her home is... but as he looks
into the back the seat is empty.

Yes, I can see the action and people in my mind.
You can really write, Ghost.
