I was wondering why the film is released through Warner Brothers? I
thought the rigths for Dark Shadows was owned by Worldvision
(Spellings company) which is owned by CBS/Viacom.

Also I was lookiing at the credits and noticed some of the old
DS people who were the film. Where was John Carlin/Abe Vigoda/
and others? Also where were cameos that were in the film?
I missed them somehow.

That's the original series. The MGM owned The movies and the 1991 series.
WB produced the aborted 2004 series. It was going to be broadcast on the
WB network.

Abe Vigoda is known more for Barney Miller/Fish. Very few people even know
he was on Dark Shadows. Why not Marsha Mason then?

Marsha Mason could have made an awesome cameo to those in the "extreme
know". Or Kate Jackson?
