I watched the destruction of Collinwood in 1970 but I, for the life of
me, can't remember how Elizabeth died. Last time I had seen her, she
was under the spell of Gerard Stiles-- then they're listing everyone
who was being buried. Did I miss an episode somewhere along the way
when she gets killed?

Oh, come on! Doesn't anyone know how she dies in 1979? I can't find
any references to it anywhere...

It's never spelled out. Barnabas simply tells Stokes afterwards that
she died in the zombie attack. Do we really need to get graphic about
it?
What's interesting is that we still never hear diddly about Roger. He
hadn't been seen or mentioned since he saw himself in the Parallel
Time Room. Once they returned from Parallel Time, he was persona non
grata. They didn't say he was away on a trip, they didn't say he was
around Collinwood somewhere. They didn't even bother to say he'd been
killed in the attack. They just forgot about him.
