Shannen Doherty Said to Put Off Bitchy Image in New TV Project 'Shannen'
Shannen Doherty is said to put off her bitchy image in new TV project, which
is tentatively titled "Shannen". According to E! Online, a source has
informed them that the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star is currently
working on upcoming reality series, which will show her "lighter and
funnier" side.
"She's excited about it, because she doesn't want that stigma anymore of
being a bitch," the source said on the actress. "They're still figuring out
exactly how it will be done. It may even have some scripted elements."
Moreover, the source told E! Online that Shannen has already met with
several networks and she will also serve as the producer of the new show
beside starring in it.
However, Shannen herself refused to explain about the details of her
upcoming TV project when she was met during Entertainment Weekly and Women
in Film pre-Emmy party at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles on
Thursday, September 17. "I'll be back on TV very soon," she said shortly
with a smile. "There will be an announcement very soon. I promise you that."

girls. She gets more reconition. I think when she was on charmed. The
tabloids made up stories. As they always do. Alyssa and Holly always
says Shannen is a good actress...well as a friend. When Alyssa got
married couple weeks ago..her second. I think she invited Shannen to the
wedding.

Yep, they made up ALL those stories on Charmed, and ALL those stories on
Beverley Hills 90210, and ALL those stories ... Nope, she's simply a sour
bitch in real life, and she has to be THE star, otherwise she walks out. Of
course she'll be fine in this new show because she's the only one in it,
it's all about her and she won't be upstaged by someone else.

Sometimes as we age we do occasionally get a bit wiser.

Except no producer / director in their right mind would bother giving her a
93rd chance ... although it is Hollyweird, where brains and common sense are
in extremely short supply. That could be why the only role she can now get
is a silly "reality" TV show all about her (and it wouldn't surprise me if
it was made by her own company for a second-rate cable channel ... which is
still way above her talent level). She's an old has-been hag, or more
precisely a never-was hag, who needs to be left as a past mistake.

I think she is missunderstood. When I watch her on the first ep of

being mean to the main character. But offset..they're the closes of

Like most child actors, she was an obnoxious, spoiled little brat on her
early shows and it's no surprise she turned into the mostly typical "child
actor gone bad" as a grown up, complete with self-esteem, anger, booze and
drug problems. She's simply not a person that should be hired for anything,
which is why she now mostly has to resort to hopeless "reality" TV shows.

I never said she was the only one, in fact I said she was typical of most
child stars.

As an obnoxious little kid she was in a show about a family that I can't
recall the name of (and can't be bothered looking up).
