help identifying an old cartoon

I'm hoping somebody can point me to a cartoon that I remember watching as a kid. The cartoon was probably from the 50's or 60's. I remember a scene where a cat (maybe a dog?) was falling asleep watching a mouse hole in the wall. The point of view was from behind the cat's eyelids. As his eyelids would droop and suddenly open, you would see the mouse with a large mallet sneaking up on the cat. He would look bigger each time the eyelids opened, then pow with a bunch of stars on a black backfield. Any ideas?... more »

Are we starting to see entire networks fall?

Seemed like a rarity in the past. I can only think of two or three
networks that morphed into something else, but it seems Oprah's
network is in trouble. Now Oprah is powerful, but her channel is
unique and will not last I don't think.... more »
