Why all the hate for Cartoon Network's Hall of Game Awards?

Is it just me or is there a lot of hate for the Hall of Game awards?
Why is the Kids Choice Awards cast in a postive light while Cartoon
Network's answer to that held in such contempt? I'd like to play the
race card, regarding who hosts the awards show, but I'm not going to
go there right now. I wouldn't even classify it as live action since
since its not a series, just a once of year event that's acrually
dedicated to the channel's programming. So why all the hate for it? If
Nick can have an awards show, why not CN?
