As in "dead ringer"? Unfortunately apt!
There was a sad story about the hunchback of Notre Dame. He wanted to go
on holiday, but the archbishop wouldn't let him unless he got a fill-in.
He advertised, and a man turned up.
"Now, keep your legs up," the hunchback said, "and hit the bell with your feet."
"No worries," said the man. He swung out, legs dangling down, hit the bell
with his face, and fell to his death!
The archbishop came running out, and cried, "Who is this?"
"I don't know, said Quasimodo, "but his face rings a bell!"
Next day an elderly man came along, a friend of the deceased. He wanted to
ring the bells in memory of his friend. Quaimodo reluctantly let him, and
urged him to keep his feet up!
He did, and successfully rang the bells! Then when he had climbed down he
had a heart attack and fell dead!
"Who is this?" exclaimed the archbishop as he ran out.
"I don't know," answered Quasimodo, "but he's a dead ringer for the bloke
who was here yesterday!"
