Last night TAR ratings held steady, actually it was even slightly
higher than the season premiere thanks to football overrun. It
even helped CBS to win 8PM time slot. It is a great news because
most shows lose 20% of viewers when the second episode airs. It is
an exciting episode thanks to the multiple trainwrecks spreading
over the whole hour. People love watching trainwreck, especially
reality show viewers. They should come back next week. Just don't
submit this episode for the next Emmy's.

TAR was delayed 30 minutes out of Minneapolis. Same for everyone else in
central/east.

More likely, the excursion of "60 Minutes" into the 8pm slot led to
CBS' win in that slot.

Much of Buffalo probably couldn't get the game, thanks to Time Warner
not carrying the local CBS station at the moment. Even those who went
out to buy rabbit ears to get the football game probably didn't stick
with the station for prime time.

Amazing Race has an existing fan base of 12 seasons so I think the
ratings should hold steady........
