FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- A call from a woman tired of her roommate
bringing ladies home begat three prostitution arrests and the seizure
of phones, one with a message stating, "Donkey I want to have sex with
you come and I'll give you 30."
The apparent carnal caper involving condoms, cash and lingerie went
down June 25 after Fort Pierce police traveled to an address in the
1100 block of Soltman Avenue, a recently released report states. A
caller had said she'd grown tired of her roommate bringing women to
their abode.
An arriving officer spotted George Leroy Marshall, 71, sitting in a
blue Lincoln Town Car. Marshall said he didn't live there. He said he
brought his niece and was waiting while she chatted with her
ex-husband inside.
Police knocked on the door for about three minutes before Ignacio
Diaz, 49, and 27-year-old Crystal Lynn Morine answered. Diaz's fly was
down, and Morine was trying to fix her clothes.
Diaz, whose listed address is the Soltman Avenue home, said the woman
was a friend who stopped by occasionally.
"I asked Diaz if they were having sex while I knocked on the door and
he just smiled nervously," a report states. "He said that they had
agreed on the money but that they did not have sex yet because Morine
did not feel good and she had some type of bump on her back."
Morine, of the 2000 block of Southwest Morelia Lane in Port St. Lucie,
said Marshall brought her to the home so she could speak with Diaz.
She said she'd been there for almost three hours talking to Diaz, with
whom she denied having sex.
Morine and Diaz both said a condom found in the trash would have their
DNA on it.
In Morine's phone, police found messages in Spanish from "Stalker,"
one of which read, "Donkey I want to have sex with you come and I'll
give you 30."
"Donkey" is not a common term of endearment.
A message in Spanish from "Gato," read, "I don't want beer but you can
sleep with me."
Messages from others made references to pill sales and availability.
Police noticed condoms, make-up and lingerie as Morine emptied her
purse. She said she had cash in her brassiere.
In a later conversation, Marshall, of the 3300 block of Metzger Road
in Fort Pierce, said he thought Morine was talking to her ex-husband.
Marshall said he hadn't seen Morine in 10 to 12 years.
"I, however, arrested Morine in December 2011 and Marshall was her
driver at the time as well," a report states.
No further mention of the apparent bump on Morine's back was made.
The phones of Morine, Marshall and Diaz were taken into evidence.
Morine and Marshall each were arrested on two prostitution-related
charges, while Diaz was jailed on a single prostitution-related
charge.
According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff's official, when Diaz was
taken to jail, officials researched his fingerprints and determined
his name is Mariano Bichardo. Bichardo is 35.
Morine initially told police she knew Diaz as "Mariano."
