Or the guy who does the "monkey profiles" goes home... takes some time

obviously a team effort by a couple of gov't shills trying to disrupt

Yawn. Politics does enter many issues on this news group. Name
calling is optional, but not appreciated by most of us. Forget about
it. Politics is a fact of life here and has a place. Though some
people just post right wing, garbage and nothing to do with atc, but
they don't seem to be the people being criticised. Back in the 1970s
'the personal is political' was accepted by some as a true statement,
argued by some that it was not.

The ones that post right/left-wing garbage usually are the cross posters
that aren't atc regulars that I have kf'd along with the race bashers so I
don't see it much. Politics is okay if discussed civilly or even in a good
debate, but there are some that can't do that without getting nasty and
bashing the other side. Hence insulting other regular posters. If a
person wants to argue politics, take it to a political ng and they will have
much more fun.

I didn't know that. I thought some on both sides were occasionally
wrong and occasionally right. Well, I'm a left-winger, so I'm going
to take your word for it that I am always right. My husband will
laugh his ass off, and he's also a bit of a leftie, so this would be
one of the times a leftie is wrong. Thanks.

I was responding to Nancy ("Didn't you know left wingers are always

right and right wingers are

always wrong"). I'm not sure how serious she was but I thought it
was funny. I thought others would find it amusing that I could always
be right while my husband woul laugh at the very idea. I still think
Nancy's line was funny but my serious response to her previous post
("Garbage is posted by all political bents.") would be that, yes, she
is right.
Can I add to "things I'm getting pretty tired of" is people not
ignoring things they don't like or else, lighten up, get a sense of
humor. Anything but encouraging the discontent you say you don't
like. Yikes.

Bullshit. Just about every newsgroup has charter, a description of
what are appropriate topics of discussion. Posting religious turds
is against the alt.true-crime charter.

The control is unenforceable of course, and if you don't like it and

Baker left?? When? I didn't know she was gone.

and what's this:

"What have I been doing?
Those who haven't found me: snurl.com/koecher
(Yes, he is/was a conservative -- to me, it doesn't matter)"

Has someone been looking for her? Does someone care what she's been doing?

But, I do think it's sweet that she is willing to get around conservative
cooties.

Just through observation, you will notice that the left's first response is
always name-calling. The left has been indoctrinated by Saul Alinsky's
"Rules For Radicals." It's a philosophy of negation.

Getting back on topic, I notice that bible guy is starting to post
under multiple nyms.

Highly reminiscent of our previous mass-spammer, who has since become
monkey profile guy.
Who remains among the missing.

I am all the more convinced that they are the same guy.

To me that statement came off like the cliche, "I'm not a bigot, some of
my best friends are [fill in the blank]". Why mention it if it's not an
issue.
