I seriously tried to find something. Because I'm on dial-up, it's a slow
process. I figured there has to be a male dishwasher out there somewhere
that was shot whilst doing dishes. I would only guess that if there were
any, the male dishwasher would be in a restaurant or somewhere doing his job
rather than in a nice comfortable home. lol

Nope not true:
Rene Jimenez was shot with a .22 caliber rifle while washing dishes in
the back of the Fujikan Japanese Restaurant, 14376 Culver Drive, about
9 p.m. Monday (January 20, 1988 )
and a woman
Cynthia Gibson, 21, had a gunshot wound in the head when she was found
in the kitchen of her home in the 3200 block of Kellogg Avenue about
4:30 p.m. She was the 497th person to be slain in Dallas in 1991,
police said
Tough one! In the Luby's massacre in Killeen, Texas, one employee hid
in the dishwasher to keep from being shot. It was about 20 hours
before he came out, I guess nobody thought to check in there. Can't
tell online if any of the victims in that massacre included someone
whose job was dishwasher.
I did find this story of a guy who was shot while taking a break from
dishwashing:
http://www.nola.com/news/t-p/neworleans/index.ssf?/base/news-6/116046295528690.xml&coll=1
"A dishwasher at a Faubourg Marigny restaurant taking a break on the
sidewalk outside and a friend standing next to him were seriously
wounded when a man walked up to them with two guns blazing, police
said. "
That was the closest I could find.
OTOH I did find several examples of men who worked as dishwashers, and
who shot someone. So clearly we should ban men from this line of
work, in the interests of public safety. Sorry ladies, ,but think of
the children. The children!

Ah well, sorry but it's a woman who's dead, killed by her son.
Police Say Argument Over Washing Dishes Leads To Stabbing Death
MARIETTA, GA (AP) -- Police say a 23-year-old Marietta man is being held on
charges that he stabbed his mother to death during an argument over washing
dishes.
Marietta Police Officer Mark Bishop says authorities answering a domestic
violence call last night found Katherine Walker stabbed with a knife in the
back and chest. Fountain was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he
died from the stab wounds.
Authorities arrested Earnest Lee Walker, who was being held in the Cobb
County Adult Detention Center pending a court hearing.
Bishop says the argument started after dinner and involved doing the dishes.
Bishop says two juvenile girls -- age ten or less -- were witnesses to the
incident. He says they were Earnest Walker's nieces.
Bishop says in addition to felony murder and aggravated assault, Walker is
charged with two counts of felony cruelty to children because the two girls
witnessed the attack.

Well I'll be damned! One of these and a vibrator and you guys become
obsolete! ;>
We are quickly heading into a futuristic era where robots will be commonly
seen helping around the house, performing all the household chores just like
humans. Some of the futuristic kitchen robots have already made their debut.
Remember the Chinese AIC-AI Cooking Robot and the Honda's Asimo robot which
can serve tea. Recently, Professors at Tokyo University have given a glimpse
into a future world where robots can help out around the house. The humanoid
kitchen robot can pour a cup of tea or other drinks and even wash up the cup
afterwards.
The multi-skilled robot can even wash the dishes. The robot is the result of
four years of hard work using cutting edge technology from more than 40
Robotics and Information Technology professors at the University of Tokyo.
There is no information available as when the robot will make its commercial
debut, but we will keep you posted!
Watch the kitchen robot at work on DailyMail.
Wait until virtual reality lets any guy fuck any beautiful woman in
the world (sorta), and see how many still bother to court women.
"Hmmm, I could take her to dinner, listen to endless stories about her
cats and her sister and her mean boss, or I could just run this little
scanner over her and tell the computer to add a French maid's
outfit..."
It's women who need that emotional attachment. Now tell me who is
going to me obsolete?
Bonus points: virtual reality will put a huge dent in prostitution
and stripping. Poor dears might have to - gasp! - get real jobs. Oh,
the humanity!

Most women get their *emotional attachment* through their female friends.
They are the ones who listen to all each others secrets, are there when the
chips are down, give the emotional support, advice, help out with the kids,
etc. What with the extension of football season, the male of the species
are prone in front of the big screens from August through January.

Actually, the thought didn't enter my mind 'til afterwards. I just

That crossed my mind. That if there was indeed a man shot while washing
dishes, it would be a commercial application. However, this occasions me
to recall the poor lady that was shot as a "Deer" by a gung-ho hunter in
her backyard while hanging out clothes on the clothesline.

I'm going to disqualify this. I'll give 1.2 credit if an autopsy

It depends whose dishes he's washing, whose salad he's tossing.........

No problem. It's just that the joke is about men, specifically. I'm
sure that plenty of men actually wash dishes at home, but the joke
hinges on it being a supposedly rare occurrence. Personally, I abhor
washing dishes and will do anything to avoid it....

I'd rather wash dishes than stick them in the dishwasher and pull them back
out again and put them away. It's so much easier and quicker. Unless, of
course, we're having a lot of company with a lot of dishes.
My husband has taken over the dishwashing since he retired and doesn't mind
them at all. Unless we're having a lot of company with a lot of dishes,
then he heads off to the telly with the other men. Grrrrrrr

Finally!! How many years did it take me to outdo you, just once?

I missed my dishwasher a lot, while living in the RV.
No matter how hot of water I used, the dishes never came out
as fresh and "untouched" as from the dishwasher. Wanna
come on the next trip? I have a job for you.

Well, I was once admonished by the Aids Task Force, when, as a member
of their speaker's bureau, I included a discussion of rimming in a talk
for a nursing home.

I thought rimming meant you got the edges of the dishes
really really clean when you washed them ;)

Oh!

I'm going to toss my cookies now...
Couldn't you pay some woman to toss them for you?
Bo
( Still refusing to find out what teabagging is. )
I'll be there, but you gotta feed me.
Chocolic
Yea right.
Chocolic
If I didn't feed you, we wouldn't have dishes to wash.
Hey....I just figured something out!
Kris
lol, your poor hubby.
Chocolic
I guess a husband could possibly be shot while doing dishes, mistaking him
for a misogynist by a gung-ho misandrist?
Chocolic
Or if he was mistaken for an abortion clinic employee by a Christian
fundamentalist. Cf. Dr. Bernard Slepian.
Bo Raxo
BTW, next time you come thru Sioux Falls, let me know. I'll buy you a beer.
:)
Chocolic <seriously!>
How about a gin & tonic, light on the gin, double lime?
I don't do beer. Oh yeah, margaritas are nice. So are
mojitos. Oh year, a manhattan or a cosmo. Anything
but beer ;)
Kris
Who knows where we'll go next.
I'm ready to head out
Chocolic
Will do!
I've been to Sioux Falls before (2004, I think). We kinda like
driving across I-90 and reading the funny signs (political,
advertising, SEE GIANT MONSTER, etc).
Kris
Chocolic
My parents drug <ahem> us all there, when we were kids. The place smelled
the same in 2004 ;)
