Think it'll make it to the Supreme Court? I bet it does, 'cause I
know an important precident-setting case when I see one. Can you
even IMAGINE what would happen if casual, private nudity was in any
way criminalized by overactive busybodies and other scum?
Chaos and moral decay -- that's what would happen.
Oh, I say Mr. Williamson! We're all behind you on this one, at least
those of us with a shred of backbone and respect for the process of
law.

Were the mother and her kid charged with trespass?

I didn't know walking down a public sidewalk was trespassing. I think
prancing at the door while the lady and kid walked by is what did him
in. I think the woman is being honest. To bump this up to a sex offense
all the complainant has to claim is that he was touching a sex organ to
get him convicted of a felony.
I prefer to keep my shades closed.

No, he didn't compare the crime to John Dillinger, he compared the notion of
him thinking he did nothing wrong to that of Dillinger thinking robbing a
bank wasn't wrong.
What is in question is the traspassing claim. The footpath along his house
from which the neighbor saw him, is that a public walkway or is it his own
private property?

That has to be the law at its most ridiculous.
Next thing people will be prosecuted because they're nude under their
clothes...
Yes, judges ARE that stupid

If everyone was naked no one could hide anything.
Yep. It was not "casual nudity" He was standing full front in a
window and also a door (two incidents) and doing things to attract
attention. He was rightfully convicted.

you know, I'm just guessing, but I suspect the other person did not
mean that a judge compared a crime to the person John Dillinger.

Yeah, and then they put the collar on Nancy Regan and drove the
Presidency from their secret base hidden somewhere under the lunar

much more than arrange shipments of lizard-brain serum for the black
masses.
Please show me the link where it says they were on a sidewalk.

said it was a path in his yard. Y'know, those "Short cuts" people take

Gee, Steve--was any of that stuff perchance sold as COUGH SYRUP?
Ill have to agree with the law on this one. The dude sounds like a dumbass,
who struts around naked with the curtains and door open, living in a town
house which are usually pretty close to each other and common public areas.
He sounds like a closet exhibitionist who was getting off on it. When I am
naked I do a thing called closing the fucking curtains as I live in a
aparment complex, I dont want anyone else seeing my bits as they would have
a heart attack and die from its sheer beauty and I dont want that on me.
But jail time? nah. Id just tell the dude he is a dumbass and make him wear
a small hello kitty dress in public for an hour as punishment.
Close the fucking curtains.
Geez.
Opps, have to go to the rents for Xmass. Fuck.
Kevin Anderson, that name rings a bell. Didn't we used to go out?
hang on, where you the guy into guys sitting on them and farting?
NO, he was the guy into guys shoving trashbags full of catnip up his
ass, then walking through the Kitten section of the SPCA
I'm not sure why this topic is even considered in the topic of
conspiratories, except if it were actually to come to pass what you
suggested. When I read this a few weeks ago, I was surprised as well
- it was obviously a news item intended to capture everyone's
attention. Althoug I didn't do a follow-up as to whatever
repercussion occurred, I would have been offended too but wouldn't
have gone to the extreme of filing a complaint. Obviously there are
rules regarding public decency and even though it was that man's right
to do as he pleases in his home, he should use common sense not to
stand in front of a large window exposing his whole body.
In California you can be arrested for being drunk in public if you can
be seen from the street, like through an open window. I've never seen
it actually happen but it's one of those "just in case they can't pin
anything else on you laws." The really disturbing part is that this
means that the cops would have "reasonable cause" to enter your home
without a warrant. At least this this is what the cop told me.
They can enter if you're makin loud noises too. Or if it's loud and
then gets quiet. Too quiet. They got lasers they can shine on your
window and read the vibrations so they can listen to you inside your
house. They gots infrared imagers can see through walls, they thin
enough. They got you!
Tater
When the cop told you this, did he have a worried look on his face or a
gleam of anticipation in his eye? I'm not sure I want to hear the answer,
but I'll ask anyway.
That's funny cause it true!
IT was more like, "you should feel lucky I'm such a nice guy for not
hauling you in because I could even though you're not doing anything
wrong."
That sounds like the worst alternative of all. Eep!
It has been more than 20 years since I was in California, but at that time I
was told they could not arrest you simply for public drunkenness unless they
could take you to a treatment facilitiy, and all the treatment facilities
were always full, so generally they did not mess with drunks unless they
could make something else stick, which generally they could, but drunk in
public couldn't be the nothing-else-fits charge.

Not in real time. Heat takes time to conduct through

to be as useful as Rorschach blots. X-rays are what
you really need, and they work by transmission, so
you need a source and a receiver *many* square feet

Source power would be sufficient to create whole

peeking through folks' walls for giggles and voyeuristic
