May 16, 2013 A couple days ago, the power window started acting strangely. It would get to the bottom, and then make loud klunks, and keep going. Today it stopped going up, or down. Took the door panel off. Find the motor was (aftermarket motor from 2011) held on with three screws, all had fallen into the panellling.... more »

Fuel pump died today. Towed to garage, given ride home. This gonna be expensive. On earlier vehicle, I did my own replacement. I'm too old for that. Sawzall, and work from the top.

A/C leak

1995 Chevy K1500 W/T V8. Replaced everything on truck a/c except evaporator. Worked fine. After winter the a/c wouldn't come on. Pressure on low side was 10 lbs. Checked every conection in engine compartment and didn't find any oil anywhere. Am I safe to assume it's the evaporator? This thing held a... more »
