Again, another beautiful find. Sure wish I could turn something like
that up. Maybe one of these days...........

I forgot to ask you more about your interest in the Civil War period.
Do any hunting at CW sites? It has been years for me since I moved
into Ohio from Pa. Back when I lived in Pa., I did do some CW hunting
at Antietam, near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and some remote areas
outside of Gettysburg.

Warmest Regards,

Hey Relic, sorry I've been away for so long. I have been really busy
with the Holidays and plus my Uncle passed away on New Years Eve "may
his soul R.I.P." . But to your question, I'm interest all parts the
Civil War and history. I live in North Georgia so we didn't see much
action in the war here. All there were a few towns in which Sherman
burned down. We are more know in North East Georgia for the Gold Rush.
Although we did have a lot of people from this area who fought during
the Civil War and also a few story's about hidden confederate treasure
located near Lake Lanier, but no one has found any gold yet, or least
not hoard of it. We also have a large cemetery in the town I grew up
in, but can't do any kind of hunting around the graves due to it being
a monument. You are more likely to find Indian Artifacts here than
Civil War Relics, may even find a gold coin or nuggets. Well my friend
I hope I answered you question. I can think of few interesting places
I would like to hunt, but getting permission is sometimes like trying
find direction on a map with out names.
