After three weeks of morning and afternoon hunting in truly sorry, too warm,
hunting weather we got a good cold spell with about three inches of snow and
I got a whitetail and a Mulley this weekend (25th and 29th) and got them
hanging for butchering this weekend. Got the whitetail (10 pointer) Saturday
morning and the Mulley (4x4) Sunday afternoon. So will have meat for the
table and some good sausage to eat before I hit the MD looking for the
silver. Our family waste nothing of the blessings we get from nature and it
does help immensely with the food budget as well. Truly a Thanksgiving
Weekend!

Our club's first parade is tomorrow night. It is forecast to be in the low
30s to high 20s. Brrrrrrrr what was I thinking! LOL I'll post some pictures
of the float later.

Congratulations, there's nothing better than fresh backstraps grilled to a
nice medium rare and sliced wafer thin.

I'm glad to hear you got them deers. Just thinking about deer meat
right now makes me hungry lol. Too bad you can't send meat in the
mail, because I would be begging right now. Maybe the other dears will
learn from this and not eat from your garden, but I doubt it. They are
not the smartest animals out there, just really fast.

Oh and we are getting snow tomorrow also, the system that just hit
Texas. But I like cold weather so I won't complain about it.
