Using social travel guides is a great way to find out what you want
about a destination before you visit.

Using online travel guides also lightens the load of bulky print
travel guides, and feature up-to-date information.

Looking for Ideas for summer vacations? www.tripwolf.com is a new
social travel guide that offers
a first hand experience into any destination, with user reviews,
photos and videos and a guide to
budget hotels in Europe.

What social travel guides do you use?

I've been really active on http://www.resideo.com/ for a while now.
Been traveling a lot lately, and the site has really come in handy and
been fun to use.

For a hotel that I am interested in staying at, they have a forum
where I can post questions. Each hotel has its own dedicated message
board.

For hotels that I've already stayed at, I can take the survey and post
a review. What's really cool is that they allow folks to edit the
hotel information -- the "overview" text, directions, etc. etc. Kinda
like a hotel wiki (I've not seen anything like it).

Anywho, looking forward to seeing what sites others are using...

Hi, I will check it out, tripwolf also had wiki features that allow
users to edit and add information on hotels, points of interests and
destinations. Whats also a good feature is that you can print a
customized travel guide which eliminates
the load of print travel guides.
