This nasty little Hertz subsiduary is set up to receive notice of parking
tickets issued to any Hertz vehicle
tagged anywhere.
Even if you pay the ticket immediately ATS doesn't care, they're just doing
their sleazy job.
They know very well that if you're travelling on company business, you won't
put the special Hertz fine
on your expense account because it looks so bad. You'll likely pay the
ticket & the Hertz fine for3x the ticket
Where they slip up is with guys like me, who do not subscribe to bullies,
don't have a boss or anyone to account to, and are prepared automate a
denounciation public service for sociopathic outfits like ATS.
It seems to be a permanent condition of car rental companies, trying bully
clients. I had it happen in Montreal 30 years ago when I tried to reason
with an arch middle management tyrant about some fees I had to pay in
connection with a company lease car which had some salt encrustation on its
carpet. This fellow, wrote our comany president suggesting that I be fired
and when I my boss started pressuring me to pay for new carpets, and I
offered to quit, he got the pres. to enlighten Tilden on the state of their
Mtl. Office
