feel free to throw in examples from other media if they seem relevant.

I don't see a lot of talk about them here, but we had my Birthday party
with my best friends on Sunday, and among other things I received Kre-O
Megatron. I haven't had a chance to build him yet (pesky school gets in the
way of everything) but I'm digging Kreon Megatron and Shockwave. I also got

off-topic: PHP Tutorial?

My weekend has been shot to hell because I've been frustrated to no
end trying to learn PHP. Damn it, I can connect to a MySQL database
just fine, but when comes to reading and writing to it I'm at a loss.
I don't know how many databases I've created and blown away, just this

And onto my thoughts...
Too many tentacles.
Soundwave's tentacles dominate the show, despite his toy not actually having tentacles. The tentacles also make him look like a discount Doc Octopus from Spiderman. Most elements of tension in the action are caused by the tentacles -- they reach behind Wheeljack and grab a weapon, they creep around a rock to grab a bit of Laserbeak, they try to drill off Wheeljack's face... they do everything other than say "Your toy sucks because it doesn't have tentacles" in ASL (and that is only a supposition on my part, since my only knowledge of sign language comes from the wonderful series of youtube videos entitled "Dirty Signs With Kritsin" [link] )... more »

250 Point Project - Vehicon (Transformers Prime)

I recently picked up the Cyberverse Legion Vehicon toy and figured
that even redshirts need some attention. So I converted the standard
car vehicon as a Hero 4th edtion RPG character worth 250 points.
