Let me first say that I am a very lucky person and a very lucky
Transformer fan. To be in the fortunate position that I am in, I am
very thankful. It is my wish to share my experiences with you, my
fellow fans.

I felt obligated to bring this bit of news to the fans: With the
increasing glut of Transformers on the market, the Transformers
property is going towards a down-cycle. In fact, Hasbro is thinking
of ending the line altogether. Don't fret, fellow Transfans. I
guarantee you that this
will not happen.

While it is true that Hasbro has been disappointed with the last few
properties, they have a trump card that they have been holding back.
This is quite possibly the biggest thing to happen to the Transformers
in the last two decades. It will, undoubtedly, revitalize the
Transformers--and the toy industry--for years to come. What is this
property? It's called "Transformers: You."

I first came across this years ago in a Hasbro warehouse. I never
thought much of it until now. You see, Hasbro was intrigued by the
exo-skeletons featured in TFTM. In 1986 Hasbro put together an exact,
functional replica of the suit that Daniel wore in the movie but could
not efficiently produce this. The cost of technology was too great.

Today, however, these suits can be produced cost-effectively. And,
ladies and gentlemen, they are amazing. I've already tried out a
prototype and was amazed at the playability. Like the movie, the suit
has a working laser gun and transformers into a small vehicle. The
laser gun is, of course, of a lower-power. It will cut through rope,
aluminum and such but will not punch a hole
through steel. The vehicle will reach speeds of about 35 mph.

There will be no TV series accompanying this line. Instead, Hasbro is
opting for a new media-delivery system. The heads-up display included
in the suit will allow you to view interactive, real time combat
scenarios. It's very high-tech and very cool.

The suggested retail price for this set is going to be approximately
$249.99.

I can not say a great deal more about this project as it stands. A lot
of things have to be worked out. I am just thrilled to be a part of
it. I will let you know shortly how things have turned out.
However, for now my fellow Transformer fans, you are not alone and
Hasbro has certainly not vanished. I will do my best to keep everyone
up to date.

From your Transformer insider, Patrick
Stewart

It might be a good idea to lay off the crack and check yourself

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Welcome back, Mr. Stewart. Always great to have you
around. You're always good for a laugh. Working exo-suits. What a riot.

Wasn't this the idiot who told us that Armada would have several Optimus
Primes and Megatron and Galvatron co-existing? Have I really been lurking
here that long? Get a life Stewart, nobody wants you to peddle your
pedantic pissery on these premises.

I was trying to remember if this is the same guy who wrote about getting
the super special Optimus Prime with the matrix a few years back.

Nope, that was Neale Davidson. Stewart was the guy that said 2001 would bring
us completely reworked G1 figures, including Megatron that turned into a
Walther P-38.

I remember some of the crap they put out being rather close to armada

At least this one is blatantly impossible. All the armors I've heard
about being developed for military or police use isn't anywhere the level of
the movie exosuits. Personally, I'd rather have an Iron Man-type armor.

So it's horse poopie anyway, right?

Still you gotta admire the travesty of a tapestry he weaves online, fooling
no one save himself. Of course he's an insult to the real Patrick Stewart!
