Count me out,Thus far I haven't seen walmart MP skywarp yet. 3-4 of my
local walmart stores in New york don't have him yet on shelves.
I remember the first Walmart MP Starscream only cost around $47
dollars. 2 years later MP Skywarp now cost $60.
Needless to say i'll be holding on to my receipt till 90 days/3 months
to see if I can return it then re-buy it for a cheaper price.
I plan to buy 1 or 2 Walmart MP Skywarp's when there arrive on shelves
in my area.
I asked this one walmart store employee who had a bunch of teeth
missing & then this old retarded walmart employee women.when the MP
Walmart was going to arrive or if it was in the back stock room. Both
employees were so freaking lazy, didn't know how to look stuff up on
the computer, refused to go in the back stock room. the guy with the
missing teeth said that this might be a "ONLY Internet walmart
exclusive".
I remember about 2 years ago fighting with a walmart employee trying
to open up a box & buying Walmart exclusive MP Starscream. the item
just came off the truck in a case assortment box. it was around
novermber 5. the dumb women claimed it was a black friday item &
refused to sell them to me.
I even involved the manager who was another obnoxious twitt.
After that 20+ minute argument at that walmart trying to get Walmart
MP Starscream. I drove 18+ miles to the other walmart. the eployees
were much smarter & polite. They even opened up the case assortment
boxes & allowed me pick out 3 Walmart MP Starscream's. The items rang
up regular & I walked out the door a happy customer.
A few days later on around november 9. that walmart that refused to
sell me those MP Starscream's. put out about 30+ of e'm on a huge end
cap display.
I noticed all the boxes were dented, pushed in & beat up on purpose.
most likely done to turn away collectors. That didn't bother
me,because I've got 3-5 walmart stores that I visit. anyways I already
bought the C-10+ mint versions a week ago at the smart+friendly
employee walmart.
As I've mentioned before, Canada has seen some of them (which is nice,
for a change. I never saw any MP Starscreams here). Only seen them twice
at the same store here so far.
They're out there, but based on my experience, they might be hard to
find. Blink and you'll miss them type of thing (now watch someone report
that they've got a couple dozen at their local store. :)

And later that day... I went to a Walmart in a suburb/bedroom community
to here (Sherwood Park) and found 9 more of them on an aisle display.

I went to a different walmart today 11/09/2009 & found 6 Walmart MP
Skywarp's. I bought one & left 5 for others to buy. the toy cost
exactly $60.00
I think there was only about 3 or 4 when I picked mine up and I haven't
seen any since at any Walmart. I'm wondering if each Walmart only got a
limited number?

Could be. I remember reading the MP Starscream had a very select amount
per store and I never saw them locally at all. I did see several more MP
Skywarp today at another Walmart.

I remember reading a rumor on the internet that each walmart store in
USA/America received exactly 18 Walmart MP Starscream's. The price If
I recall was around $47+

There were exactly 18 when I bought my Skywarp. I think it must have
been 3 cases of 6.

Has somebody got the inventory code for this thing? Not sure
if it will do me any good, but it's better than nothing.

which involved a 28-minute attempt to check out)

I have posted it before, but here it is again—the UPC is

My Walmart's got 30 of them. They're already on the shelf, so
obviously it's not a Black Friday item after all. They're not
actually in the toy department at my store, though—they're up in the
seasonal area where they're doing some kind of "The 12 Toys of
Christmas" thing. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Also, I agree with what you said earlier about his feet. They really
should have been purple.

So you did, 7/2. Anyway, I found SW up in Great Falls
yesterday--there were 27 of them vs. still none down here. They also
had Fearswoop, which hasn't seen the light of day here either (except
for the one I got site-to-store). I so do not understand
distribution.

Ugh, I shouldn't have said anything. :P So I was doing my
regular weekly shopping, which in this case occurred on a Friday
night, about 7:30. A majority of the checkstands were open, but few
seemed to be moving. I was third in line, and the guy doing checkout
was apparently a trainee or something. I normally don't switch
lanes--you usually don't gain anything by it--but when this guy had to
have a *second* manager come over, I figured I'd never get to the
front of the line, let alone leave the store. So I just moved to the
next lane.
Right after that, the gal who was "running herd" over the
checkstands had me move to a third lane, where we'd be just second in
line. Sounded good, but when we got there, I saw that it was a guy
who I knew from previous experience to be a slow checker. Still, I
figured slow was better than stop, so I stayed there for a while as he
worked on the customer in front of me. Apparently he decided he'd
made a mistake on something, so I kid you not, he started backing
items out of the order one at a time.
I was not pleased by that point, so I took my cart over to the
customer service desk and demanded some satisfaction. The guy seemed
like he was about to laugh about it, but I told him I didn't think it
was particularly funny. So he got together with a manager and the gal
who had been riding herd and was now running her own checkout (yes, it
took 3 people to make a decision), and she ended up being the one to
finally check me out. From the time I first stepped into line until
she started scanning, 28 minutes. I know lines can be long there, but
I have never had that crappy of an experience. But I'm OK now. I
found Skywarp.

Paint, paint... I might do that...
- Shin Hibiki (his purple parts should also be more lavender-y)
> Put me on the list. I saw seven of them in Hollywood, Florida.
Hmm, who's maintaining the list now? (Where's Silvershot when you
need him?)
Zob
>I think it must have been 3 cases of 6.
Oh, I forgot to mention—they come in cases of three, actually. (Does
anyone care? Probably not. Mine is not to question why, though—mine
is but to report accurate case ratios.)
Zob
> From the time I first stepped into line until she started scanning,

That's just ridiculous. I hate waiting in line myself—I really wish
they hadn't gotten rid of the self checkouts at my store, because
there was always, always at least one where there was absolutely no
wait. (I think customers avoided them because they confounded
people. I'm sure that's not why they got rid of 'em, though.)
Here's a tip for you that might make things easier in the future—when
I go to check out and the lines are too long, a lot of the time I'll
take a detour to one of the other departments that have cash
registers, like the jewelry counter or the vision center or the
customer service desk. They usually don't mind ringing me up,
especially if I only have a handful of items. (Layaway used to be
great for this, too. Most stores have converted over to Site to Store
now, but unfortunately they don't always have somebody manning the
desk.)
ObTFs: Masterpiece Skywarp's packaging doesn't even mention that he
comes with a pilot figurine. Are you guys sure he comes with a Dr.
Arkeville clone? (I could have bought him today, but... eh, I dunno.
I feel so weird buying toys for myself this time of year, especially
big, expensive ones. I used to have to buy my own Christmas just so I
would get what I wanted—memories of Millenium Falcons and tons of
Alternators—but my wife is really good about shopping for me so I
don't really have to now.)
Zob
Now we know--and knowing is half the battle! :)
t.k.
My guess is most stores are getting rid of them because some use e'm
to steal stuff.
At any rate when a line long, I just grab a gossip magazine & catch up
on current events for free.
> ObTFs: Masterpiece Skywarp's packaging doesn't even mention that he

Well mine came with a "Pilot". It's only refereed to as Pilot in the
instructions so it's kinda hard to tell if it is Dr. Arkeville as he it
completely black. I only put it together because he is wearing a lab
coat and looking like he's got a "skull cap" with points on it.

I would have done something like that, but it was my regular
weekly grocery shopping, so I had a cart full of items, not just a
handful. That's also why I didn't go to self-check, which we do have.
Anyway, I don't think jewelry would be able to weigh the vegetables!
