I've read both of those novels and they contradict the Prime series.
Basically I've resolved to simply enjoy the series as its own
stand alone entity, and ignore the headache of trying to make it
all work together coherently.
Trust me. It's way better this way.
...Although Exiles wasn't as contradictory. Yes there are a few
contradictions, but it's not as bad as Exodus.
