He'd make a nice Autobot, if he wasn't so easily destroyed. If all it
takes is an iceberg to take him down, it would be a short battle with
the Decepticons.

It was the cold weather, like we all learned from Transformers: Prime,
Transformers can stand the coldness in space, but not arctic temps here on
Earth.

IIRC there were some Titanic bots in the late '90s. I recall some
standup comedian even doing a routine about them. He affected a
stereotypical Chinese accent and said something like, "It become robot
for boy, Titanic for girl! Perfect toy for everyone!"

I vaguely recall this making the rounds on ATT some years ago,
probably when the movie first came out. Funny how it's back, just in
time to conincide with the re-release of the movie. What's old is new
again.

Space is a dry cold. But icebergs and all are a much wetter cold -- at least when in contact with a much warmer Transformer who is melting the ice on contact.

So, it's not the cold, it's the humidity.

Also, Skyfire just wanted to be an icicle in G1.
