This from anther list:
This from one of my Tf lists:
Are there any female Decepticons in G1/G2 canon?
If so, who, and where are they from/appear in?
I already mentioned "Nightracer" a BotCon exclusive and a repaint of
the gold "Gobot Bumblebee"
And the ninja robot Nightbird (Or Night Bird) is is considered a
Decepticon by some fans after she was reprogrammed by Bombshell. Some
feel Megatron used her, others feel he was in love with her.
Any others? I don't think they were, unless they came in the later
procuced G1 or Japanese stuff
Seawave
Hi
I posed it on attm and attcm for you.
I also forgot to mention "Glyph" she was also a BotCon exclusive who
was a blue repaint of G1 Bumblebee.
Also ... I know you mentioned G1/2, though these are more obscure
Beast Wars and more obscure Female Autobots/Cybretrons. There were
also a few Femmes in Beast Wars who were more obscure (than (Airazor &
Blackaracnia) mdroid/Maximal?), Scylla, Archadis (Beast Wars Neo)
and BotCon 1998 Exclusives "Antagony" (all Predacons) and an exclusive
Maximal "Arcee" Transmutate was also considered to be female.
Blackarachnia was called "Black Widow" in Japan.
I know you asked for Decepticons, but I thought I'd mention the
Autobot "Rescue Force", the one called Res-Cue, by fans is considered
to be female as "she" looks more feminine. "Minelba" also called
"Minerva" was a more obscure Japanese Cybertron. "Prima" was a female
Autobot mentioned in the G1 Marvel comics. Prima is also one of the
Ancient Autobot leaders, not sure if there's any relation, though I've
always thought of Prima as a feminine sounding name.
I'm not sure if there were any female Micromasters, (I think there
were some who were dulled Femmes, by fans) hard to tell as I don't
believe all their profiles said "he" in them and same thing with some
of the G2 Autobots and Decepticons, esp the European ones. I guess if
it never said in canon that they were males, you could always
improvise :)

...Who? I have never heard of this character, and considering I
specialize in stupidly obscure TF characters, especially foreign ones,
this is news to me. Are you sure you're not thinking of the GoBot Rest-
Q?
The Rescue Force does exist, but none of them ever had any names.

Where are you getting this? Prima's not female at all. Stop spreading
disinformation, sir.
The last issue of the Victory manga featured Esmeral and Lyzack, two
female Decepticons:

Crasher is from IDW's Megatron Origin comics:

Hey, I never said THE " Prima" was female ONLY that I thought the name
sounds feminine, did you read my post? I have no time or
patience to repeat stuff that I've already said, but I will not be
accused of spreading disinformation, you make this sound like matter
of national security, now I adore Transformers too, fella, but I'm not
about go about falsely accusingt people. Geez, I'm not gonna a flame
war over obscure characters. There was, according to a friend fo mine
who was more an authority on TF comics, who mentioned that there was a
rather obscure femme named Prima in one of the Marvel UK G1 comics
(who ran many more stories than the Us ones), though far from a major
character.

That's Ma'am thank you.

There's Mega, one of the Godmaster partners to Overlord from the
Masterforce cartoon in Japan.
Armada Airazor's toy had a Decepticon sigil.
And let's not forget Alice from Revenge of the Fallen.
Zob
I think Armada/Energon's Airrazor (single "z"? Or double? I'm too lazy
to check just now) was Unicronian rather than Decepticon. Minor
difference in the grand scheme of things, of course.
But I don't remember any female Decepticons out of the comics or
cartoons. Not even as background characters in the Marvel UK comics.
I think I'm about to be proven wrong, because I have this niggle at
the back of my mind which says that I'm missing something.
Say what? Those were UK cards and don't mention any names...
Who are these fans you mention?
Argus.. wonders if Seawave knows female constructicons released with
names in Ozzy land as well...

That only happened in the comic.
There are a bunch of japanese female micromasters btw. Even some in
the combiner teams exclusive to japan.

Technically, Mega and Giga were humans who piloted Overlord, but yeah.
> Armada Airazor's toy had a Decepticon sigil.
I'd forgotten about that! The explanation was that originally they
were gonna make her a spy or something?

It's not surprising, because Furman wrote, like, all of those, and
Furman's all "No! Transformers are robots, and robots don't have
genders! Arcee isn't really a girl, she's only built like one! Except
when Jhiaxus made her that way in IDW."

Yes.

Pics or it didn't happen. The Wiki says nothing of this, also.

I'm not trying to start anything, I just don't like it when people are
blatantly 'wrong' about such clean-cut things.

Your friend is making up fanon. There is only one Prima, who was
mentioned in the UK G1 comics (which were written by Furman) and later
in the US G1 comics (also written by Furman). Prima is the first
Transformer, and the only time Prima is ever mentioned, it's as being
the first Transformer and/or the first guy to hold the Matrix.
Here, read the Wiki:

Because I totally know your gender offhand!

Well, technically she's a Gobot. But it works.
> Pics or it didn't happen. The Wiki says nothing of this, also.
I am quoting what I had heard on the grapevine, what other fans have
told me over the years, who I had no reason to doubt
and I never wanted to start a childish argument about this anyway. I
was gathering information for a friend, not trying to stir slag up.

Then don't... the fellow I heard it from was much more an authority on
the comics than me and I took his work for it. Now I don't have time
to read each UK comic (all 332 of them) just to see. - And MANY of
the UK (and US) marvel comics weren't written by Furman in the earlier
days --I'm referring to the original ones, starting form 1984, however
Furman did write many of the later stories.

Yes I KNOW about Prima the first Matrix holder... sheesh - I've said
this three times now. I would not be surprised if the "Prima"
my friend mentioned was in in one frame in comic (he was that
particular), or just even mentioned by someone.... Can we drop this
now, I'm not a walking encyclopaedia of Transformers and these sorts
of arguments are usually why I stay away from fandom (Star Trek was
ruined for me for this reason) and I get so much joy out of
Transformers ... and I don't want that to happen with TF's. Now
perhaps it WAS fanon... but when I heard it, these fans knew more than
me, about the toys and comics, and so I took their word...
And as for the comments by otehr fans comments that TFs can't be male
or female, I partially agree, not in the human sense anyway... But I
like the idea of Femmes in Transformers.
I neither have the time nor patience to continue discussing this right
now and if I do come up on more evidence, I'll be sure to provide it
for you and post it here, but for now, let's both put it to rest and
continue to enjoy the Tramsformers we love, veen if we agree to
differ.
Seawave
So basicly you're just spreading false rumors with no basis
whatsoever.
I'm glad we got that sorted out.

Technically, if it's Furman, then it's neither male nor female,
because Furman isn't a big fan of gender in TFs. You could argue that
once Arcee was created, all other TF's became male, but if you
consider Arcee to be part of the next evolutionary step, then the
first Transformers were still androgynous, and Prima can be regarded
as neither male nor female (or either male or female). This perhaps
was Furman's intention when giving it a feminine name, which makes a
satisfying change from the "They have no gender, but they're all
incredibly macho" approach.
Velvet Glove (who was always bugged by how masculine the cartoon's
matrix holders looked.)
>Velvet Glove (who was always bugged by how masculine the cartoon's

Matrix = steroids?
Really? 'cause I thought Prime's boobs really grew like anything in
the first War Within issue... can't tell if his package decreased,
only that it changed colour.
> So who died and made you Prime? ... ;)
Optimus!

The TF Wiki *is* reliable, because anything that *isn't* right is
going to get removed.

I understand that, but the information you gathered was erroneous, and
that's what I'm trying to point out.

There were two writers for the US comics (after the initial four)--
Budiansky and Furman. And Prima was only ever in stories that Furman
wrote.
You don't have to read all of the UK comics--I haven't. I've only read
a few! But I've read the Wiki and I know what happens. If there *was*
a minor character named Prima, who was not the first Matrix bearer,
even for one panel, there'd be an article on him or her. This Wiki has
articles on, say, the guy who transforms into a piano for one page of
Time Wars who doesn't have a name. It has articles on Transformers who
never transform in Movie-related look-and-find picture books. They
don't screw around with their comprehensive information. The things
they haven't covered are so obscure that even I haven't heard of most
of it.

That's what happens when you only find out things second or third-hand
from people instead of reading either the original material or a
comprehensive guide like the Wiki.
> And as for the comments by otehr fans comments that TFs can't be male
> or female, I partially agree, not in the human sense anyway... But I

I never said 'I' agreed that Transformers shouldn't have gender--I was
saying that's what Furman wrote and believes, and Furman invented
Prima, which means Prima is not a girl.

Eh.
