Semper Fi, Marine!

I recently purchased a nude painted-head Joe on E-Bay, and I just
received him in the mail. After unwrapping him, I did the usual
cursory inspection to determine his condition. As I gently pulled his
leg away from the ball joint and abdomen to check the amount of rust
on his inner hardware (because we all know how Joe's inner hardware
LOVES to get rusty!) I noticed several loose threads wrapped around
the leg elastic. I carefully pulled them all out, and discovered that
each and every one of them was a piece of Marine camouflage thread.
No Army olive-drab or Air Force blue for this Joe! He's a Marine,
inside and out! :-)
Anyway, once I wash the dirt off of him, (and give him some new
feet...his were lost in some long ago backyard battle) I will be
returning this old Devil-Dog to combat-ready status with a fresh set
of Marine cammies!! As the saying goes..."Once a Marine, always a
Marine!
