Yea, despite that, its still a highly sought after set, for some odd
reason.

For me, I think someone with some modest art and modelmaking skills
could make a far more elaborate version on their own, fabricating a 3D
missile, and foamcore launch rails and consoles and such for far less
than $1000, but to each their own I guess.

Still, it constantly surprising what things go for at times (and how
cheap some sought-after items go for at the other end of the
spectrum).

It`s the fact that it`s cardboard that makes it a truly hard to find
item. Loose ones are generally damaged and missing pieces...many were
probably thrown away. 6 grand is a lot dough tho`....wow.

I wonder what the guy is going to do with it? Will it just sit in it's
original packaging, and he'll just admire the box, or will he open it
up and set it up as a diorama?
